Reviews Summary
Users generally do not like the Rentler app, citing issues such as poor user interface, lack of listings information, numerous bugs, difficulty saving preferences, limited functionality for landlords, communication problems, inconsistency in property availability and pricing, and inadequate customer support.
Great app. I wish it would automatically return me to the home page after sending the "request a tour" button. It was pretty confusing for the app to say "your message has been sent" and then still be on the same page where you're supposed to send a message. I sent a message 3 times before realizing the app wasn't glitching, I was just sending more messages. Also is it normal for the app to send more messages automatically while you're sleeping?

Cozy did not have an app and it was their biggest weakness in my opinion. In the digital age a functional app should be mandatory. Needs a way to toggle between landlord and renter (full website functionality through the app PLEASE). This should be a priority. There is hope, the layout is nice and intuitive, this just feels like a skeleton. I am literally begging for more as a new property owner. I believe in you!!!! If this updates I'll update my review. New to your site after cozy closed.
people that create these apps should be made to need and also use them once in a while.. this app doesn't tell you ANYTHING about the listing other than its location.. it has the ability and space to list info, but the spaces are all empty or filled by "N/A".. Annoying and useless. does have lots of listings, but it doesn't know what is available and what isn't. don't waste the time..

Hi Amy, thank you for your feedback. We haven't noticed any technical issues with the listings' descriptions, and "N/A" means that the landlord hasn't provided any information. Please contact us at [email protected] with more details about the issues you have and we'll look into it more precisely.
I truly hate this app and platform. It doesn't allow you to have any organization at all. I can heart properties but I can't see the list of favorites. I can go into list view but if I go into a detailed view of a property, if I go back I have to start all over at the top instead of where I left off. Instead of a full view of the list I have to constantly hit view more to see the list which is frustrating, especially because youre back at the top when you exist detailed view. How frustrating!

Using it on a Google pixel 3 and literally nothing works. You can't see any of the options at the bottom of the screen, the map doesn't load, and no listings show. Also I'm a landlord with a listing on rentler and they're don't appear to be any options for landlords using the app, though I can't say for sure since I can't actually see all of the menu options.

It's very buggy! Annoying to navigate, nothing saves... not favorite properties, not preferences, pretty much nothing. I tried the app after having an almost equally annoying experience on their website, hoping the app would be better than their website... sadly not so much. π
It's great for finding places. it kind of takes money for no reason. They offer a service to submit applications for $30 a month. The only problem is that most renters are off-site, so Rentler's service is rendered almost useless.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! Currently, your can share your application with Rentler landlords who accept online applications. We recommend you to make sure your prospective landlord accepts online applications before making any payments.
If this app can't find my location without an account when I open it every single time it sends me to places in provo utah, then I go to the main page and.. wow, it knows where I am. I don't think I need to give it unlimited access to use my location but that's what it looks like. So I guess I don't need this app, So many others to choose from.
Every single property post on fb makes communication within the app easy and fast. Rentler does exactly the opposite by forcing you to email communication. When you are looking and talking to many landlords, you will easily forget what property rentler is managing, since in the emails there are no pics of the property. You guys think like a company, not like customers.

My experience is seeing a listing for x amount. Less than a week or maybe a day or so new.. call and apartment isn't listed at such price anymore.. please find a way to control accurate prices (Control in app pricing not actual apartment pricing) there is 0 pricing accountability from an account to lie about pricing.

Hi Jovanni! Please contact our support team at [email protected] with more details so we can look into that issue. Thank you!
