It would be helpful if the app didn't drop connection to the cameras while the cameras and tablets/phones had solid connections. It's frustrating to be watching a camera and the app just drops out giving an error of 7008 or whatever and not only drops the camera I am watching, but all the other cameras as well. Otherwise, this is a very useful system.

it was Perfect *Starting February 5, 2025, we will be discontinuing the Detection and Recording features to improve overall service stability. I will possibly be discontinuing my subscription at that juncture. it's why i use the app. paid app. * I see the web viewer option is gone already ~ that's how I view it from work on a PC.. ~removed from auto pay.

Update: 1-9-25 downgraded to 2 stars because now in order to watch events u have to download them to your device whereas before they were instantly viewable. Really bad idea. The free version of this app is good. Video quality is nice & alerts u everytime your camera senses motion which can be quite annoying at times. The motion sensors are sensitive that shadows from the clouds trigger it and you're getting tons of alerts sent to you. I had to mute it even though I turned the sensitivity down

As many have said, this used to be a great app. I've used this on various phones for years and it's been helpful and useful. When I set up my phone again the other day to watch what was going on at home while out I come back to find there's nothing to watch. It's not a glitch, it's now designed to do morning more than be a baby monitor, not record anything unless you pay. You would think that with all the ads popping up they would use some to mention the changes that make this so useless. Gross

I understand they make money from the ads, but full screen ads every time you go to the app or try changing to a different camera in an emergency is ridiculous. If it don't change soon I'll be deleting the app and move on to Cobra Cams, it's a cheap one time cost to have a whole house security system without ads and can be used with phone, tablet, and PC. It's sad the developers are so greedy to allow ad revenue to ruin the app, I won't pay every year to have no full screen ads.

I love the idea and, when it works, it's good quality. However, it only works maybe once it off every ten attempts. Unless I have physical access to my camera (old phone) I cannot reliably access the camera and it will not reliably record motion events (making it useless for security). I get a 7001 error. If I have physical access to the camera I can open the app on the old phone and then it remembers how to function, but that defeats the purpose of a security camera.

Do not upgrade! I enjoyed the basic version for many years, and I had no advertisement notifications. I upgraded to the paid version a few months ago, and now I get at least 5 every week sent to my phone. They also still have ads in their app. It's ALL their own ads!!! I emailed them and they said they didn't know how to turn those off and would try to work on it. This is ridiculous.

LOVE IT! The app is everything I could ask for. it only took about 10 minutes to set up both devices. The process was extremely simple and very well explained in the app. The free version is absolutely perfect for basic needs. Supports video, audio monitoring and recording as well as being able to talk into the viewing device and out of the recording device. This comes in really handy when my Dog is doing his 'Olympic Gymnastic Dance Routine' across the couch and my bed. Thank You, AlfredCamera

Just use AdGuard to block the ads. The lifetime ad removal is extremely overpriced. Most apps only charge $2-3 for lifetime ad removal. I thought the price was because it also unlocked the full feature set, but it doesn't. Those are locked behind subscriptions only. Also, dropped review to one star for responding to my review in a way that completely missed the point.

This app is seriously useless anymore! I use to love it. I even pay for a subscription now. And now the play back option constantly says unstable connection, when both devices are on a strong wifi connection! It also will constantly say camera offline and won't connect for no reason. And just recently it will say that another app is using the camera when it's not! Please please please fix these extremely frustrating issues! Issues still not fixed! Actually worse! 8 months later
