HiSense Smart TV Remote

I must admit I was stoked to have an app actually complete the task I needed to accomplish(turning down the volume) before trying to shove annoying ads down my throat that even when you press skip, you still are taken to the ads site. Basically, it's wonderfully easy to navigate and doesn't put off a sketchy potentially virus infested vibe. I probably downloaded over 5 other "similar" apps & this one exceeded my expectations and was unmatched.

freaking amazing!! it connected to my TV with NO remote, paired with no problems. I was afraid I needed the initial remote. I thought I was screwed. COMPLETE life-saver. Blew my mind how quick and we'll it worked. I'm so grateful. Gave it 4/5 stars bc of the consistent intrusive ads. But TBH, I was hesitant to remove even a single star. Because otherwise, my large, 4k HDR TV in my living room would be bricked, otherwise. a fair trade-off for a free app. 100%. I expected this w/o paying. TYSM!

This really works! But, I can plug in a physical keyboard to my Hisense TV and be able to search movie titles and show titles by typing in the names. however, I cannot use my phone virtual keyboard to type in the names of movies and shows to search for them in the search bars. Being allowed to use my phone keyboard in the search bars would make this a five-star app

App hardly EVER works. won't sync, have to close app and restart usually between 4 and 6 times and more often than not just refuses. When it does work, it runs ads while you're trying to change channels or input anything. Frustrating, rather just spend the money for an extra physical tv remote.

Works but the fact that you have to pair it every time when you just want to turn a TV off in another room is annoying. So, if you or someone else left the TV on you still have to get up, go to the room, look at the code on the TV and enter it on the app. It makes it next to pointless unless you've lost your TV remote or have decided to use a dummy phone that will now be the remote as you never close the app. For me, it's rubbish. There are better universal remote apps that remember your TV.

Free! No subscription. This was my 5th downloaded remot app, and it works on my TV. Each of the latter either wouldn't connect to my TV or did and asked for a subscription ranging from 5$ to 39$. I was able to connect this to my TV right away and has an easy to use design. I lost my remote months ago and have been stuck at a low volume. I can actually watch movies again on this one. I'm super happy with this app, and it's no BS functionality.

Suggestion: add a reconnect button to the remote screen. I use this app on Android TV. It's easy to connect to my TV via wifi, but anytime I don't use the remote for even a few minutes it loses connection. I then must go back, choose Android remote, and choose my TV again. I end up doing this multiple times every day. It seems like those 3 steps could be replaced with a single step: reconnect to the remote type/TV that was last chosen. Aside from that this is my favorite remote app. Thank you.

Within 5 minutes it was messing up, I got ads, even though it connected to my TV initially it stopped working. And it slowed my phone down a bunch so probably stole everything it could to sell. And asked me to review it not 2 minutes after I started trying to use it. Don't use this app, find a better one. Wish I hadn't. Just wasted 10 minutes of my life.

I'm giving it 5 stars, for the simple fact that I downloaded this one, my wife downloaded two other remote apps and they drove her insane with the way they force her to reconnect via pairing code, which apparently is slow to do. The ads in this one were annoying until I watched her fight with her remote apps. Let me pay to remove ads or something, please.

Deleting this app bc i pressed the Vol + button 3x and it MAXED my tv volume. I began frantically pressing Vol - and it ignored me. I ran to get the legit remote and turned it down. Then when i used the legit remote to turn the volume to the reasonable level that I use...the app turned it down. I cant make this up...like 7 or 8 times i used legit remote to turn it up, app turned it to zero. I deleted the app and made this review lol. I wish you better luck. Thats the only issue i had.
