PadSplit: Rooms for rent

Padsplit is affordable (helps financially), flexible (as how long able to stay/although charges more for flexible stays), and the staff that I've talked to have been helpful and kind. However, some of the places say no overnight guests and some don't allow guests at all(which could be an improvement if guess were able to come over anytime).

PaSplit is great, but, at least while searching for a pad, you're better off using the website as it gives more information on each house. The listings in the app seem to be missing important stuff like number of rooms and bathrooms, as well as profiles of current padmates (all of which are included in the website listings). Fix this oversight and I'll adjust my rating accordingly.

It would be really nice if you could filter by rules. I have no interest in paying for a place to call a "home" but never being allowed to have a friend over. I tried to talk about this issue on reddit and learned many properties didn't require that but I have never seen a single listing in my state that doesnt...Would be much better if I could skip having to look at each listing by itself.

For "Galaxy A03" (android) one you get toward the booking process it glitches/bug & sends you back to the starting point. Unable to process payment because of this . Same problem with (sign up process) getting towards verifying proof of income .. it'll do the same thing . I'm not sure if this is just for this model phone in particular ,or Androids periods ,or just any other particular device . But it needs to be fixed immediately , this interferes with businesses !!!!

Honestly, If you're in a bind and you're looking for a new place IMMEDIATELY, I wouldn't recommend this app... They want you to pay $20 just to sign up... Then they want a picture of the front AND back of your ID... AND after you've done all of that, you can't even Book a room without using a bank card or credit card!!! smh WAYYYYY too many obstacles. Ur better off using Roomsters 🤷🏾‍♂️

They tell you that your account won't be charged until the booking is approved which is a lie. They took out 159 and lied to me on the phone while I was looking at the transaction that my bank confirmed. The "owner" has 24 hours to approve the booking and can wait until the last minute but if they do then there goes your backup and now you you have to wait another day or 2 for approval.

Good app; it helped me find a room near my job. One suggestion: improve the verification process for foreigners, as it took a long time to complete.

It has been over 220 days since I paid and I'm still waiting for the background check to clear... this app will scam you for $19 application fee and never give you a chance to rent a room/house

After I made a booking I got an email saying 'parking may not be immediatley available'. Its like over selling flights. Buyer beware. Not the type of messaging you want after making a financial commitment. It also made me feel unsafe to see some profiles that do not have a clear face picture. Due things like identity theft etc. The police and site members should be able to see those pictures. Company needs to fix that.

App seemed very clean until it said it required an update, which is strange when I only installed it minutes ago. After a moment the app crashes, and will not open properly again. I'd rather use the website to manage my booking. EDIT: Been using it a few months with barely any issue. Yet the app keeps crashing when it gets a new update. Will stay loading without ever finishing no matter how many times I try.
