Sherwin-Williams Color Expert™

Needs a little improvement to be less tedious. I uploaded multiple pictures of an indoor space, and none were recognized. The color descriptions lean more toward fluffy language than practical descriptions, but I'm happy something was provided. After I looked at the cart, I couldn't just hit the back arrow to the color I was looking at (no other option was provided). Clicking on a complement or similar color did not provide any description, I had to enter the color in the search bar.

First of all, Sherwin Williams paint is the ONLY paint I have used for over 20 years. I learned the hard way trying to paint a dining room deep red with a 'cheaper' paint. After 13 coats I still had to go to the SW store. So, spend the $ for the good stuff. The best part about SW is the app. You can truly visualize your results before you start. I have had a Samsung Note for many years and the colors from the screen have been spot on every time. Plus, even if you arent painting it is still fun.

Tried several times and every picture I took the visualizer could not identify the scene. An exterior door, I tried close up, far away, in between, morning, afternoon, evening, every picture could not be used because the visualizer doesn't know what a front door is! Not wasting any more time uninstalling and trying another app that hopefully knows what a door is

It uploads my photos sideways so I can only choose to take a new photo directly from the app. When using the new photo taken, I'm finding the tool poorly identifies and incorrectly colors large items in the room making it really hard to use. It actually colored my desk chair and half of the floor in the photos. I finally gave up.

Want my money back, totally worthless app. Can't choose by hex color, doesn't have paint brands palettes loaded, choose colors by slider which is absolutely no help to choose the actual paint. Needs a free trial before you pony up. If I'd known ahead of time how lousy it is I would never have paid for it. Learn from my mistakes.

I thought the new one would work better than the old one but the "AI" on this is horrible and they took away the color palette option in lieu of uploading your room. Doesnt it make more sense to want to base my options off a specific image or scene instead of using the existing options in my space? Or at least give the option to do so? Please give up on AI and bring back the color palette

I got this app to look for cabinet/shelving paint colors. It only shows paint color on walls. If your space isn't free of all decor or clutter, it picks up on those colors and really throws things off

Omg I loveeeee this app. I tried 2 other big name paint brands and this app was the best. Sherwin also has a ton of beautiful colors to choose from. It helped so much being able to see your room with their paint color. The app is laid out better than the others too. Cannot wait to see my end result :)

The "Visualizer" feature of the app is terrible! Everytime I try to upload a photo, it says, "That didn't work. Sorry, we had trouble processing your photo. Please try uploading it again." Straight garbage.

Instructions are horrible. I have a picture and paint colors and can seem to apply the colors. You should be able to search colors by name or number.
