No issues with the app and I love my experience with Great Clips. The only feedback I have is I wish there was a way to see a list of the stylists working. I have a select few I really trust with my hair and I had my hair butchered once unfortunately. So it would really help if you could favorite certain staff and see if they are there that day.

Not always the best at accurately estimating wait time when you check in ahead. There's been several times when I went through the app's process, said it was 0-5 minutes wait, and it's a lot longer. It needs to have a better algorithm to catch real-time data, such as stylists present, average work time, number of customers currently being serviced, etc.

We appreciate your feedback, Joseph. The estimated wait time is based on the current conditions in the salon. As customers check-in and are served, and as the team members change shifts, the estimated wait time adjusts accordingly.
Useless scheduling algorithm!! I live close to great clips, I usually head there when the app says the wait time is 7 minutes, when I arrive it magically jumps to 15-20 minutes, and it takes more than that to actually start my haircut, it never fails. I understand this can happen once in a while, but it happens all the time. I am better off walking in.

It's straightforward and very easy to use on the go. Also, great coupons! I have had coupons that weren't valid where I was getting a haircut, and the stylist called the manager over, and she accepted it. I even had a coupon she said was bogus. The manager showed how to tell if the coupons were bogus, and then she accepted it anyway. Great place!

Very inaccurate wait times. Almost useless. It does put you in line, but that's about it. It also cancels your check in without notification after a certain amount of time. But at least they've jacked the prices so high you need a 2nd mortgage to pay for a haircut. And let's not forget the shaming you tip process where they think a 25 % tip is the minimum even though the stylists are paid hourly and aren't tip dependant like a waiter/tress

The wait time is a joke. It doesn't account for close times, so you show up for the cut with 10 mins to go and they close in 5 mins. The algorithm considers tje number of stylists but not their schedules, so stylists leave and suddenly your wait time increases past closing. These have been known problems for years but GC chooses not to fix them.

Warning. I got stuck in an accident on the freeway. After a forty minute trip that normally take ten to fifteen I made it to the salon. I still had a nine minute wait as I was pulling up, but was at the top of the list. I found a place to park and headed into the salon just to find out they kicked me off the list. They graciously offered me a forty five minute wait after my forty minute trip there. I just left, have no intention of going back, and am deleting the app.

works. mildly annoying. the usual. since the developer is wondering. the app text requiring "walk-in only" because of "unusual" long wait times is a lie. at least one of every three times I try to check in online, walk in is the only option. being lied to for marking baffle gah reasons is mildly annoying. once checked in and wait times had dropped to under 2 hrs. I tried using the app so I could get texts. wouldn't do it, checked me in for a later time. mildly annoying. ya know what? -1⭐

The app suddenly stopped working on my phone. It says it's incompatible. So now it's useless to me. I originally gave it 5 stars, now it's down to one. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 and the app disappeared from the phone and I can't reload it. The play store now says that it's incompatible. Since I didn't do anything, it must be the app developers that changed something. So it's up to them to find the problem and fix it.

Great time saver when it actually works. Did an online check-in and checked the box for them to text when I had 15 minutes left to head to the salon, I checked the app, and I had 4 minutes to get to the salon that's 10 minutes by car away for me... Edit: they responded to my review and didn't even address the issue of not getting a text message when its time to head to the salon...

If your wait time is under 15 minutes, please head to the salon. While ReadyNext™ is meant to send a text message as your haircut time nears, it’s possible that your phone did not receive the message.
