Life360: Live Location Sharing

I originally had free, upgraded to subscription, big mistake. If possible, pay yearly, cheaper than monthly, over $40 in savings. However, this app has been terrible since November. I've done everything chat bot says to do. Everything is turned on. I have no driving reports, but I look at my husband & daughters drive and it shows all the drives. Also, my problem started when I upgraded to yearly, not monthly. Nothing works. Please fix or refund money.

Seems latest update broke app. Tracking a phone now just jumps from one spot to another, no longer showing the route being taken. At the end of the drive I then get a line from start to finish. Then the majority of the time I am no longer able to view the map when checking incidents on drives. Just shows the entire country with no route.

November 2023 I gave 5 stars. The accuracy of location is incorrect, notifications of someone leaving/ arriving at a pin pointed location is always delayed. We thought the platinum membership would be worth it bc it offers free towing up to 50 miles, come to find out you can only use this service 2 times a year.. paying about 30 a month for about 1.5 years is about 360 a year, if it were 2 calls per member a year I'd understand. Please fix the accuracy of arrivals, departures & locations, ty

Life360 is really a lifesaver!! I love that I am able to see where my kids are at all times and even how fast they are driving..Lbvs!! My 19 year old daughter was stranded once, and her phone died, and I was able to use life360 to track her last location. It truly is a lifesaver and great app to have for you and your family no matter what age you are. It's good for children, your adults and older ones.

Updated jan 21, 2025 Seriously. We are consistetly having ssues with the app not updating, accuracy being completely wrong etc theres no point in using this if it does not work. It's a clearly time to find a new app. And yes we have uninstalled and reinstaled x2. We have restarted phones. Still doesnt work right. Used to be good but now location isn't accurate. Not getting any sort of notifications when kids get home, leave home etc. Not sure what changed

It's decent for tracking your family members, but I have to say I hate the more invasive parts of the app. I hate receiving texts about my phone's battery from family members, as I can manage that myself. I hate that it tracks phone use while driving because I am a delivery driver and ALWAYS have to use my phone when driving. I hate that there's no way to turn off individual features.

Been using this app in my family for many years across both Android and IOS platforms. Accurate and provides peace of mind for us all- love it and started many other people and families on it. Dropping 2 stars because not seeing distance of family anymore or a directions to button. I'm wondering if that became a paid feature and, if so, will havento look for an alternate app after.

My wife and I have been using this app for a couple of years with mostly successful experiences. Lately though, it seems to be increasingly glitchy. She had been at our daughters house this afternoon. When she arrived back home, there was no notification... until just now... 1 1/2 hours after she got home. Not very useful. Edit… In reply to your suggestion, both my and my wife's phones have always had location services set to "all the time" but the app is still not updating the last few weeks.

It's pretty accurate when it works, but it's definitely not perfect. EDIT: I had an issue that's gone away, but another one came up. At least 9/10 times, it doesn't say my wife has left work. Still at work, still at work, & suddenly, a notification that she's home. Mobile data's on, location, everything. I read it rats to insurance. It also tells us that we're both driving when together, so it says the passenger is on phone while driving, which would be a lie and possibly lie to insurance.

Paying for membership, but no membership. I have had this app since Agugust and realized its free. But I have been being charged for membership yet not being offered membership options and perks. There is no one who can help me fix it,. they only offer to cancel the saubscription. Wont be long for someone to come out with a better app, I hope.
