I only use this as a TV remote because we have two LG TVs and our real remote will perform the action on both of them. this app as a remote is trash. It struggles to recognize when the TV is already on. if I minimize the app to go do something else on my phone while the tv is playing, the app entirely disconnects from the tv. so I have to turn my phones WiFi on and off and completely close out the app and reopen it to turn up the volume or skip an intro. it needs serious work

Updated: All notifications off and I get a marketing push at 6a. This app is horrible Updated: Took away a star, I turned off all marketing notifications yet I still have push notifications interrupting my day. Thinq rewards is a poor idea and not one that justifies interruptions The only useful bits I have found with this are the ability to see how much time is left in a wash and/or dry cycle, and completion notifications. The app is mostly pointless for a microwave except for syncing the time with my phone. Only downside is if the power goes out the microwave will not auto sync the time when power returns. It's a manual resync, so it feels no different from manually entering the time again after going through 3 screens to push a sync button. This small change would be awesome.

I have to uninstall and reinstall this app for it to work. My wifi is on, my Bluetooth is on and it will connect to the TV SOMETIMES and it's so damn frustrating! It won't just work the 1 time and it says the TV is off when it's on. There is no fix for this, I hate this app so much but all the other apps don't work at all.

No longer works on galaxy phone. I have 2 LG C...Google home shows both now offline. TV's work fine with remotes, and I added old Chromecast 4k so now work with my voice. LG app just says my phone does not have seme network or BT..which power Google home and all my other devices. My guess inept LG broke it with poorly designed update again. Gave 2 stars as it used to work.

LG's "smart" appliances require you to push the remote button to control, I see absolutely no use for remote functions. I could just use the control panel while I'm standing in front of the appliance. Voice functions are extremely limited. How great would it be to ask an oven to start preheating while you're breading chicken and your hands aren't clean? Furthermore the washer only randomly sends notifications while all other LG devices send fine. After latest update not getting any notifications

Appliances with doors such as washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and stylers are not available due to injuries of children or pets. ^LG
works great to use as a LG tv remote when it actually works. The only problem is the app only properly works 2/10 times you use it. The app constantly tells you the tv is off whenever it isn't, and you won't be able to turn the tv on through the app also when you try to unpair tv to fix this it wont let you re pair the tv giving you error message saying unable to find info for that numeric code. LG response: Your advice didn't work. Will follow up with LG then update this if the issue is fixed.

Extremely limited capabilities - we installed this app for the LG dehumidifier. Apart from setting the schedule and turning the appliance on/off, the app does nothing. It does not let you set the desired humidity level, and it doesn't let you change the fan speed. The app contains many other 'features' that are simply annoying given the poor user interface. The app needs a complete overhaul with a new UI.

App hasn't worked with my LG Smart TV properly in months. Now it just doesn't at all. Log out and back in, remove and re add device, uninstall and reinstall- it doesn't matter. It works once after the initial "fix" and then maybe once in 70 or 80 interaction attempts on a good shot, more than 150 on a bad. Never mind the shoddy alerts/updates from other devices that might come through hours after it's already been dealt with. I liked it at first, now I'm trying to find literally anything else.

Constant notifications. Constantly digging through settings trying to disable unnecessary alerts without disabling all notifications. Also, the remote start function requires you to hold the "remote" button on the washer dryer. This defeats the purpose of remote start since I might as well have selected "delay start" instead. The only good thing about this app is the energy tracking and the specific washing modes you can download.
