Let's you watch movies and shows. When pausing, if the screen goes black, it will restart you wherever it wants. I have also been 15 minutes into an episode and suddenly have the next episode start. When trying to scan to the right part of an episode, it plays ads before seeing if I went to the right point. Very frustrating user experience.

This app is great everything plays well I have had any problems but Why Isn't There A Way To Remove Shows and Movies from my Continued Watching?! It autoplay starts shows and movies recommend based on what i just watched but then I can't remove them from my continued watching. If I don't want to watch them. I significantly drops the quality of the app for me.

Love the concept, but wish there some were extra features. For example, the "continue watching" either keeps shows I'm finished with or doesn't always register those I've started, especially if they are from another app within this one. Also, I wish we could see the actor list from the app, as you can do with the television. Finally, when I rewind and hit play (from the television), it automatically pauses, which no other app does so I forget.

The cost of subscription was worth it initially for free shipping plus ad free Prime video but now they're introducing ads UNLESS their customers pay extra. (as if they're not already getting plenty of money by getting a cut of the profits for sales ON TOP of their monthly fees just to have free shipping on most - not all - items.) I find it hard to believe one of the richest companies in the world can't continue operating as they have been for years without adding extra fees. Don't waste your $

The app on TV and mobile has become inundated with content for everything but the "free" Prime content you pay for and not truly ad free even paid. Also, Sorting all the paid content you don't have or not necessarily on Prime makes it very difficult to surf the app for something "free" to watch other than the lousy ad based Freevee, the K-Mart of streaming. I want to see newly added "free" prime content front and center.

I have never had problems with using Prime video. Since it comes with paying for Prime and I use the other services it provides, like shipping and free Kindle ebook 'loans' and other extras, I am pleased with most of it. My 2 gripes of Prime services involve Music and now paying extra to remove ads that weren't there before. The music shuffle to supposedly related music is terrible. I know it's not related directly to Prime video, but the shuffle if you don't pay extra really sucks.

Overall a terrible app. Downloads are corrupted, fail to download, don't stay available. A week ago I downloaded the full season of the firm, using a lot of my monthly bandwidth and today they are all gone. So it was for nothing. The app then is is you to ask you if you really want to delete because the video won't be available. Hmm. You can't look up an actor and see what movies he played in or directed. Downloads are very slow. Cc in full screen has to be pressed 10 times to hope to get it.

Doesn't allow playing video in a minimized window, and they've started showing seven or eight long mandatory ads before most of their content, even if you've been paying for a prime membership, with more ads sprinkled into the content later. They're doing it deliberately, to force people to pay for an even more expensive membership, by making the normal prime membership too annoying to use. They will keep hiking up the price. Support physical media whenever possible.

While there's a decent amount of movies to watch there are wayyyy too many ads. Even paying for a prime membership you'd think the ads were minimal but they're not. If you try to forward a movie there's another 4 minutes of ads. If you try to rewatch a movie there's another 4 minutes of ads. You will be watching minutes of ads the entire time. Not even 30 seconds, straight minutes of ads. Prime is only good for deliveries, don't waste your time on videos

The app experience is mostly OK, but there are several papercuts that make the regular usage more frustrating than it needs to be. A few examples: (1) it's not possible to set a playback speed; (2) it's not possible to disable the x-ray feature which can be quite distracting and even result in spoilers; (3) there is no "continue watching" list, and recommendations regularly displace in-progress series in the main screen; (4) there's no way to hide films and series that are only available to rent
