Viki: Asian Dramas & Movies

I'm greatful for the great dramas and subtitles. My only wish is for an increase speed option. Sometimes I don't want to skip scenes, but I'm not interested in side plots. If a drama is offered on iqiyi, wetv, netflix, youtube, etc AND on Viki...i always avoid viki bc there is no speed change option. Please fix this Viki. I have been a paid subscriber off and on for years, and I desperately need faster scenes so I don't lose interest/miss plot in a drama by skipping boring scenes.

The app does not acknowledge my account whatsoever. I have no problem logging in on a browser on my laptop, yet when I log in on the app, everything is gone like it's created a whole new account. It doesn't show any of my watched list or continue watching. The app saves nothing. It's useless for watching things on the go that I've been watching through previously.

I have been using this app for years. This has been my favorite app to use. I normally watch it on my Roku tv. I've been watching it on Roku TV for 3 years. Now, all of a sudden, the app isn't on Roku. Why is this happening. I've even spoken with someone at Roku, and they said it has to do with Viki and not Roku. Could someone please explain why Viki was taken off and if it will be put back on Roku?

I've been a long time but recently the phone app and tv app have both been becoming more and more unstable. It takes several restarts to get anything to come up which is frustrating. As a foreign language lover, I love watching all the different shows but may have to cancel since accessing the app is such a pain!

Overall, great app. Haven't had issues until the last few days. It kept going "blank" and losing all my shows/ list. Wouldn't let me search, kept saying "whoops try again". Finally tried logging out and back in, and then it said I tried too many times?But I hadn't tried before, so there weren't any previous failed attempts. Odd, but the problem finally appears resolved after I requested a password reset and entered new one. Try that if you're having issues too.

The app has lots of availability, and good subtitles, but the ads are annoying, and you need to pay to see a lot of the shows. There is viki pass(pay for), and viki premium(also pay for) which is also annoying because they're separate things. Overall, though, it's pretty good. If you don't mind ads, 10/10 would recommend!

It's mostly a decent app - however, filters aren't great and there's too many ads. I could normally put up with this amount of ads, but they buffer so frequently it nearly doubles watch time. I've spent several minutes trying to get through one ad break. If you want to pay for no ads then I'm sure it's great, but I don't want to put money into an app that can barely do the only thing it's meant to do.

This app is currently unusable. I am unable to log into my account—it displays an error about 'too many attempts' even on the very first try, and the same issue persists with every subsequent attempt. Resetting the password didn’t help. While my credentials work perfectly on a PC, I cannot log in on my phone or TV. On the TV, it repeatedly says 'cannot connect to server.' This app used to function well on both phone and TV, but a recent update seems to have broken it.

I have the standard pass and if you're into Asian dramas shows this is the app for you it's got a huge variety even for the standard pass though you get access to a lot more comedy series if you upgrade period I have no trouble casting to my Vizio TV which has Chromecast built in. I've been able to watch it with no issues. definitely worth the money!

it's great. I would give 5, even 6, if there were a few other capabilities. like on a series, if the intros or recaps could be skipped over. other than that, it's one of my top 3 favorites in movie/shows streaming. very much worth the subscription.
