This is the first time I actually have a problem with crunchyroll. I reactivated my subscription because there was something I wanted to watch. I reactivated my subscription through Google. Google says sign in to confirm I sign in. I have 20 minutes of premium viewing time before it all gets taken away and my card gets double charged. They have reversed the one charge, but I do not have the premium reinstated for the first charge. I have sent an email waiting on the email to be replied to.

The only big issue, that I have, is that when watching certain anime (on multiple occasions), it starts out free and before I could even finish, they end up being premium content. This I don't mind but at the same time, is frustrating because of the fact, that I'm cutoff from finishing. Then have to look for something else to watch, on the app. Other than that, I love the app and have been using it for years now. I just wish, that this would stop happening, as much as it does.
Audio and subtitles work, but video is just a black screen. issue began as soon as I updated to Android 14. my CR app is up to date, and issue persists through phone restart and app re-installation. video plays fine in chrome browser. I've sent this troubleshoot report I've a month to Crunchyroll when this issue first appeared in May. Now chrome redirects to the app, so I've uninstalled the app.

I put in my email correctly on TV for Xbox and my phone, and both times it said my email didn't work, I even double checked to make sure I typed it right, there was no flaw in it. So I just couldn't create and account because this stupid app doesn't know how to recognize emails, I guess just don't use this app, I know another free anime app, it's not the best by a mile... But it can recognize your email, it's called "Anidub max" it may not have as much anime, but at least it can make an account

The previous bug seems to have disappeared; however, a new minor bug has appeared. If I pause a video and do not completely close the app, when I use my microphone for anythingโfrom asking Google something to using speech-to-text for typingโonce the microphone turns off, the video will start playing again, even in the background on the lock screen.
I can't watch anything, it keeps telling me there was an error trying to connect to network, you should really get 0 stars UPDATE: Cruncyroll is still one the worst streaming services. 2025 I tried the free trial, which is one of the worst trials because of the short time. Everything was free to watch before, and now everything is premium.

Well, it is great for watching anime it's horrible for actually tracking and organizing it. When I mark something as watched you'd think it'd remove it from the main feed, and stop showing it when I look for new shows. But no, my recommended shows I've watched, marked them as so and they still haven't changed. I got to try to find something new and I have to search through dozens of shows I've already watched. And it's really annoying and a waste of time. It should be sectioned.

Amazing selection of so much great anime, at a better price than most streaming services. I will actually watch most of what Crunchyroll has to offer in its catalog, as opposed to other modern streaming apps, that are now more than half full of junk shows and movies people often don't ever watch. The video and audio quality are also great! This is the best all around streaming service for anime fans, IMO.
This app is amazing for watching anime recently. With the new update for multiple profiles on an account, it makes it easier to share the account with my family. The new user interface really made the app feel good. The reason I put this 3 star is because of one issue. Deleting your downloaded episodes DOESNT DELETE THEM!!! I pressed to delete an episode, and it won't show the anime anymore, but when I check how much storage is used I see that it's used up more 70GBs of storage! Plz fix this

It's nice, but the parent company takes full advantage of the fact that it's basically the only anime media platform. It doesn't even have a feedback system other media have, like the Like/ Dislike feature on YouTube for episodes, and they removed the option to add comments on videos as well. These were options in the past, but they removed them without warning or explanation over the past couple of years. But if lack of community is not an issue, it's still a great platform for anime generally.
