I made the mistake of accepting a 6-month offer for $20, I then turned around and canceled my subscription because I didn't want to renew it at the end of the 6 months. 6 months later Stars tried to charge me for a Year's subscription and my account declined it. I canceled my account again and got a confirmation on it. Everyday after that stars kept trying to charge me for lower subscriptions until they finally found one at the amount would go through on my bank. It's predatory borderline fraud.

Too many frequent connection issues. Service/connection is rigged for unfavorable selections; 1st selected plays fail while 2nd runs with no issue; feeds force less preferred titles rather than playlist titles or similar titles to what just watched. Too many account complications; mixing up accounts, cards and password issues. Ability to turn on & off continuous auto play unavailable.

Horrendous. I have high-speed internet with zero issues with any other device or streaming platform. We are gamers, so we have top of the line internet, yet Starz is the only app that will play 3 seconds of content and buffer for 2 minutes at a time. It's RIDICULOUS, and I have no other way to watch the newest episodes of Outlander, so I'm stuck with this horrific service.

Not worth it. Will not let the notification panel at the top recede so I have to see my time and battery strength and notifications throughout every movie. No option for expanding the screen so I have to watch it in small screen enclosed in a black thick border of nothingness. Forces you to watch previews before it will allow you to watch what you're attempting to watch. Search function limited... i'm planning to cancel.

Starz is a complete nightmare. They will charge you even 2yrars later, for a subscription you canceled then when you fight them, they deny it, then when bank proof is sent they tell you "We don't usually do refunds but made an exception" for your error? It took 3 weeks, a dozen phone calls and 5 email chats to get someone to tell me HE Was doing ME a favor, THEN STILL kept money for current charge and canceled the subscription anyways. They are complete scam artists.

Barely usable. Doesn't autoplay next episode, returns to title page at end of each episode. When I rewatch something, it starts at the end of episode credits, no start from beginning option, have to rewind. Audio, caption settings have to be reapplied every single time, even on rewatch or within a series. Experience is the same on mobile app, firestick, web browser. Cancelled subx. Hire a new programmer.

Love the content, however, the streaming experience for me is very poor quality. I have high speed Internet and all my other streaming apps provide high quality as well as 4k content. The Starz content is blurry and pixelated. The closed captions cut off on the sides of the screen. The app also intermittently needs to reconnect to my Chromecast while content is playing, or fails to load a stream and I have to restart the app and/or Chromecast. Hope there's a fix for this. Otherwise I'd give 5⭐

I've had this app for a long time, on and off. I've always loved it. But for some reason, I am now having nothing but trouble with it. I can't get through a single program. It keeps freezing up and buffering every few seconds. Plays for a few seconds and starts buffering again. I'm not having any streaming issues with any of my other apps so it's not a connection problem. Starz please fix this glitch. I do not wanna cancel my subscription. But if I can't watch the shows, I'll have to.

I have the app on my phone, works great. But when I tried to install on my laptop even though it clearly states that it is for "all devices" it clearly is NOT. It does not give any option to choose any device except for the phone it is already installed onto. STARZ should remedy this by allowing the app to recognize that the NEW device like my laptop and my desktop are ready for the install. Very frustrating.

Would be 4 stars,but why do I have to watch a 30 second 'promotion' to watch something on a premium subscription service. This is annoying and makes me not want to keep my aubscription. Heck, prime video lets you skip the promotion. This was the primary factor of stopping my paramount subscription. The text and movie pics are small, makes them hard to read when looking at their selection.
