MISTPLAY: Play to Earn Money

My husband tried apps before that "pay out" and they never did. I tried this one after seeing a few ads and google-ing about it. I was going to build up points but decided to do a trial of $10. I cashed out, had to wait "up to 48 hours" and I got the email last night to activate the virtual card. Filled out for it this morning and can use it already! Editing to add: The gift card actually worked! I was skeptical and honestly amazed!

Updated from 1 star. So, I've been using mistplay for a few years now off and on. When I have a lot of free time and not a lot of money, Mistplay has helped me purchase games on Xbox. Their system has changed over the years, and the number of points you get increases if you spend money in the games they selected as loyalty games. Your loyalty status is what determines the rate at which you receive points. Mistplay does actually payout the gift card you select with your points, unlike other apps

I have had this app for a long time, in the beginning the app offered games on my like list. Recently, it has nothing but games with forced ads within the game, and games I despise playing. 103 days accumulated time, never once won the sweepstakes, nor has anyone I actually know won that thing. The multipliers have also lessened over time. Still very prompt with payout, no issues in receiving payouts at all. But the quality of games offered has gone downhill.

I've loved using mistplay and have had some awesome, quick payouts. However as of lately it hasn't been tracking my game playing time correctly, and when I make in app game purchases to loyalty games it doesn't give me the diamond credits that I would have earned towards getting a gift card. Something isn't adding up, and it's getting really frustrating. I've been using this app for so long, but this issue has been consistent for the past month, and it's been making it harder to earn rewards.

Would love to give it 5 stars. Mistplay really works but been having constant problems for awhile because it constantly stops recording game play to earn points and I have to constantly exit the game and restart mistplay and restart playing the game. I get frustrated and delete the app for a few months and re-download it hoping they have fixes the problem but sadly they have not even 10 m9nths later and all you get is a stupid bot to try to get ahold of someone to tell them

I've had this app for about 3 months now and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There are much better apps that will give you more money for playing games and completing tasks in a much shorter amount of time. The most frustrating part of this app is the tracking. I haven't had one game session where the progress stopped tracking. So in order to track properly I have to quit or stop app. It also started tracking me while watching Netflix.... I'd recommend Inboxdollars or Swagbucks for games 4 $

is there any way to turn the pop up bar off at the top? the "welcome back player/you have passed this level" bubble. it pops up every few seconds, interrupting timed events or kicking me out of the game completely. it is extremely annoying. and no, you can't just easily wipe it away, it pops up every 10 secs and you can't help but accidentally hit it occasionally. which sends you back to mist play. test out Cooking Diary and see how easy it is to hit that pop up.

Have been playing this off and on and has been great for killing time and make a lil on the side. And yes, it pays out. The only issue I have with it at the moment and feels game breaking and overall nuisance. The app has a tendency to "Record the game" even when not playing a game or a game that is not affiliated with Mistplay. Always pops up at times when I'm navigating a menu, & suddenly Im in Mistplay due to the pop up. (It can be turned off, but having to disable every time is not ideal)

The thing that really bothers me about this app is you can only use the games that are displayed on your home screen. If you try to search for a game or find it through the menu, and you click on it, it takes you to a blank screen that appears to load endlessly. This is probably a bug (it better be, otherwise that's insanely dishonest) but it's VERY annoying because it limits the games I can play.

Earning rate is a bit low (about $1 per hour for me but it depends on the games you choose and how fast you progress)and the streaks are very buggy. Tasks and events always push you to download new games every day and make microtransactions. UI could be better. On the bright side the game selection is better than similar apps and it does what it says it does. Not worth falling into mobile game addiction for the occasional gift card, but if you already play it's a good way to earn a little extra.
