PlayStation App

This app is just garbage when it comes to messaging, which is what I use it for. It's so buggy. If I try to reply from messages, there's a good likelihood it sends that message to a DIFFERENT CHAT! Idk how it does that but it's annoying. I've also somehow joined into a party from sending a message through notifications? Whenever you open up a screenshot that was sent, I have to back out of the chat and re-open it to be able to text again. It's very slow, very buggy, and very bad.

Honestly I don't mind about everything else. My only issue is the captures in my library of media. I want to be able to download videos, but instead it continues to say "can't download, try again later." For the past 5 million tries. And not only that, but it also takes forever to load. And the video frame rate is so twitchy. I just want to download videos man.

Most things it does fine, checking trophies, recent games, etc. But the problem lies with the captures from the media gallery. No matter how long or short it is, the video lags the entire phone, even outside the app. If you turn off your phone, the videos don't download. It's gotten so bad that just before, trying to download a 30-second clip somehow restarted my phone. It shouldn't be such a hassle, since this is supposedly the most convenient way to share clips. This should be fixed.

Could use some work. Uploaded 2 files (a video clip and a screenshot), both did not appear in the app. The app is just as bad as PS direct using the Firefox browser, but at least I can navigate the browser by clearing the cache and history for the website if I want to use Firefox-- so forget trying to pay through the app. I love Sony Playstation, but wish they would get the supervising parties to fix the app and the issues involving using certain web browsers.

This app has some annoying bugs... It will repeat notification on me randomly during the day or night. I have to set restrictions on the app so that it doesn't beep all night or while I'm at work. The UI is slow and unresponsive at times, and messages are delayed a little. Things I like: being able to shop for games, being able to join a party chat via my phone. Being able to watch share streams from my phone. Being able to message people from my phone. Rated 2/5... Due to bugs and slowness.

I genuinely love the app, its the way i share my clips and brag to my friends on how i hit a quadruple flip reset double tap on rocket league with a gt3 rs, and its a way to communicate to friends, and lastly downloading games to the playstation... although i do wish i could do that without turning it on. Other than that, the app is pretty decent! ＼(^-^)／

I received it as a present February 4th. I can't play the game when the PlayStation networks down. Now my system's telling me I have the wrong Wi-Fi password. I'll just put it back in the box and forget about it. I miss my PlayStation 3 I canceled my PlayStation network subscription a week after I got it. It's sad my roku TV's easier to figure out than a PlayStation 5.

U need to add an option if the game is for PS4 or ps5. I accidentally bought the wrong version and it is very difficult and unfriendly to communicate with whoever in charge of refund. yes some games do indicate it's for PS4 but there are games that by default is for ps5 even though it says it can be played on PS4. hope u can look into this.

i only use this app for downloading my screenshots, and it used to work, even though it was a bit slow to download. now it cuts off every screenshot i try to download in half or just completely unable to see the screenshot. i am very disappointed in this app. i've only experienced this bug since the update in November.

Ordinarily this app does what it's supposed to do and works great but recently, around the first week of October, my app just stopped working. I don't mean there's an error message or some features aren't working, it straight up stopped working. I'll press the app icon on my home screen, it'll show the blue backsplash like it's opening, then just stops. Instant crash. I'm using Android, I've cleared the cache, managed memory, reinstalled, nothing works. It's a shame, I used this all the time.
