People do not like the ViX app due to its persistent and lengthy advertisements even with a paid Premium subscription, coupled with poor user interface, frequent glitches, and issues with loading and streaming content.
Even when you pay, "Premium (WITH OUT ADS), there are still ads!!!! Don't be fooled. Payed for Premium for the year because I wanted to watch a series without the constant irritating repetitive ads but beware. THAT'S NOT THE CASE!!!! The ads do decrease, but if you're paying for NO ADS, you shouldn't get any ads!!!!

The app is good because there are many options for novelas or movies... but the big problem is the ads. I mean, I know that in all apps there are ads, but in this app... the ads took a long time. I used the timer and the ads take 2 minutes and it's very irritating. Plus the ads appear all the time. This is very frustrating and stressful. This makes me want to not even use vix anymore...

I have been forced to use this app for a while because it seems they're the only ones with full access to the Colombian league. I'm not interested in the rest of the content, so I can't comment on that. I pay for the "no ads" subscription, and there's always an ad before every live stream. When I reached out to customer service, they were rude and didn't acknowledge that they have ads (Vix adds, not adds from the live stream signal) on the no-ads plan. The app is clunky, poorly developed.

You pay to have the best quality, the video reloads every 14 to 20 minutes. Every time you try to open the app, it says it's down to try later. The video quality, they say is HD...some shows barely make it to 480p. Some pirate sites have better video quality than Vix, and with the ads they have it's the same as cookies on pirate sites....waste of money. Thought they would fix it after 2 years of paying hoping they would do better, nothing. Not paying anymore!

Save yourself the headache and spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty of other better options out there!

They'll renew your membership when one opens the app after months of inactivity. I don't have one anymore, but I once had a roku tv and used an older email when i made a vix account. So I was surprised when I received an email saying, "Thanks for subscribing." I talked with roku, and they made sure I had no active memberships to this app. They make it extremely hard to cancel if you didn't sign up with them. Roku doesn't have my current credit card info, so good luck charging me.

App has way too many commercials, It shows 1/3 of the program/show and 2 thirds of pure commercials. The worse, it will repeat the same commercial over and over. They want to get us to pay for the service to avoid all these commercials. Besides that, it's fine. Lately, I feel it has improve with commercials or I got used to that! I gave 3 stars due to commercials, however I like that it has such a great variety of programs, I saw 2 old novelas, the originals and other shows.

I paid for the premium level without ADS. Yet the movies still pause for ads.It is so frustrating. Navigating the menu is terrible, trying to find which episode you're on and having to scroll endlessly to find the series that you're currently watching this app. Leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately I have already paid for the year up front.I do not recommend paying for this app

Tried this app for the Euros/Copa America. App is slow and glitches. Menu is slow and frustrating. You will often find yourself choosing the wrong program because your initial inputs do not register and/or lag. Game replays won't load, and if they do, you have to fast forward, as the recording doesn't begin at match start but instead, you get 30 minutes of whatever programming was before the match. Someday, the Spain-England Final will load, but by then, I'll have deleted this app. Oh, well.

Slow interface, but overall good - but when watching fútbol, the stream stops after first half, never starts up again on its own for the second half - must exit the app and restart. Customer service is no help at all in fixing this - tried several times to resolve it with them, to no avail. And with Premium I'm not supposed to have commercials but they are the only thing I can count on to always play no matter what lol...UPDATE 25 Feb 2024: Now almost always the second half starts up OK. Good!
